Pioneer Ts-D1320C 5.25-Inch Rev-Series 180-Watt Speaker PackageThis 5-1/4-inch component system from Pioneer delivers 180 Watts of maximum power (35 Watts nominal), and offers the flexibility and improved soundstage of a component installation. The woofers are rock-solid, literally--basalt fiber (interwoven with aramid) is extremely rigid and lightweight, for serious sound integrity. Pioneer's rear chamber tweeter enclosures boast an extended mid-range frequency, which means improved vocal imaging. And the included crossovers ensure a smooth response from both.

TS-D1320C Features Dual-Layer IMX (Injection Molded Matrix) Aramid/Basalt Fiber Composite Cone To create new D-Series speakers, Pioneer developed the industry's first basalt fiber made from natural rock interwoven with aramid fiber. Used in the surface layer, this Aramid/Basalt Fiber material is highly rigid and better absorbent, enhancing stability and maintaining integrity throughout a wide temperature range. Rear Chamber Tweeter Enclosure D-Series speakers feature an exclusive rear chamber tweeter enclosure that we first used in our famed PRS speakers. It extends mid-range frequency for improved vocal imaging and staging. High-Quality Crossover The built-in -12dB/Octave HPF and LPF crossover improves the transition from mid to high frequency, for a smoother mid-range to tweeter response. Audiophile-grade capacitors and inductors are used, and all components are encased in a clear acrylic cover for protection. Smooth Off-Axis Response The V-shaped tweeter diaphragm and arching wave guides control sound dispersion to make the sound stage wider in your vehicle, and ensure passengers and driver alike enjoy the same great sound. Fits 6"x8" Applications The included 6"x8" adapter allows this component set to also be used in many Ford and Mazda vehicles that feature a 6"x8" speaker application size.
